Winterfox part ways with team

David "Xp3" Garrido has announced via Twitter that his team and the Winterfox organization have parted ways.

The three-man core of David "⁠Xp3⁠" Garrido, Todd "⁠anger⁠" Williams and Alexander "⁠LeX⁠" Deily have been part of Winterfox ever since Mythic, then also including Jonatan "⁠Devilwalk⁠" Lundberg and Jacob "⁠pyth⁠" Mourujärvi, transferred to the organization in September last year.

Some of the team's recent results include a last place at iBUYPOWER Invitational Summer and more importantly another blowout at the Americas Minor Championship prior to ESL One Cologne's main qualifier, where Winterfox suffered defeats to Selfless and WinOut.


Xp3, anger and flowsicK will try to find a new duo

Earlier today Xp3 announced that the lineup have left Winterfox. According to his Tweet he, anger and Kyle "⁠flowsicK⁠" Mendez will be sticking together, though there was no mention of where the remainder of the squad, LeX and Warren "⁠hades⁠" Rettich, are heading.

The following trio are left without an organization:

France David "⁠Xp3⁠" Garrido
United States Todd "⁠anger⁠" Williams
United States Kyle "⁠flowsicK⁠" Mendez

The remaining two players have not revealed where their future lies:

United States Alexander "⁠LeX⁠" Deily
Canada Warren "⁠hades⁠" Rettich 

There are less than three days left before ESL Pro League Season 4 kicks off, though it's unclear whether the spot in the league belongs to Winterfox as an organization or the three-man core.

Other than last summer when LG signed ptr/pyth/NAF, most of those Mythic/LG/WFX lineups have been plagued by horrible roster decisions. Anger, XP3, and Flowsick are all solid Counter-Enforcer players in their own right, hopefully they bring aboard some young brain-dead fraggers.
