flusha: "Ready to start from scratch"
We reached out to Robin "flusha" Rönnquist to find out more details about the fnatic-GODSENT swap, such as who put the move in motion, whether there were other possibilities than the final lineup and more.
The Swedish roster swap between fnatic and GODSENT remains the biggest change of the off season, as the former put together a brand new lineup, while Markus "pronax" Wallsten and Andreas "znajder" Lindberg joined up with the ex-fnatic trio.
A lot of questions surrounded the big move, which is why we got a hold of Robin "flusha" Rönnquist to see what the answers are.

GODSENT were ready to earn their place at the big events
In the following interview the GODSENT player goes over details of the swap. Read below to find out at which point the move was decided, who the initiators were, what representing a player-owned organization means and more:
During ELEAGUE's grand final we saw a surprisingly emotional fnatic and in JW's statement it was mentioned that pressure tests friendships, was there bad blood between the players towards the end?
No, there was never any bad blood between any players. There were just a lot of strong feelings about certain differences within the team.
Did you already know at that point that the trio were going to split up with olofmeister and dennis? Who put the swap in motion and when?
The night after the ELEAGUE grand final the split was decided, first me and JW wanted to leave and then KRIMZ decided later on that he wanted to stick with us instead of olof and dennis.
How was it decided which group of players would represent fnatic and which group would play for GODSENT? Who made the final call and what was the thought process involved?
The decision was pretty much that me and JW really wanted to start building our own future and actually play for something that was "ours", therefore making it so much more motivating to work for the team that you actually play for.
KRIMZ chose to go to GODSENT with JW and you despite having the opportunity to reunite with the majority of LGB—olofmeister, dennis, and twist. What do you think led him to the decision he has made?
First of all, KRIMZ is a really neutral guy, he gets along with everyone just fine and I think the decision to stick with us was a mix of things. He is a really good friend of mine and JW's and the fact that we actually had the lineup already set and we had a plan for everything made everything so much easier I think, combining that with all the success us three had together.

KRIMZ had the option of staying in fnatic but decided against it
Were there ever talks of other combinations of players than the one you eventually ended up with? If so, what were the reasons behind dismissing the other possibilities in the end?
This was pretty much the first option for the three of us considering we all have played with znajder and pronax before and we really thought about how much we accomplished together and how much fun we had while doing it.
How did you take the loss of a spot at Pro League? Was it fair for you to end up with the Major spot while fnatic kept their place in one of the biggest leagues?
We were ready to start qualifying for everything and actually start over from scratch, so losing the Pro League spot was not that hard of a loss for us, and we actually had a chance to get a spot as well but we failed to do so.
As I said, we were ready to qualify for everything, that included the Major, we never thought about who gets the Major spot and all that when we decided to do this change and I cant answer if it's "fair" or not, it just is what it is.
You are moving from one of the biggest organisations in the world to one that is owned by the players themselves. What do you think that the main changes will be, in terms of conditions and the day-to-day life?
Not much will change in the eyes of the public, but we all are so much more motivated to do more than just play games and have that for a living. Actually building a brand and seeing how far you can go in the CSGO and esport world gives everything a new meaning. Even though it might mean more work, it will feel rewarding in another way.
