OpTic change stanislaw for tarik

OpTic gaming have released Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and brought in former CLG player Tarik "tarik" Celik, the organization announced on their website.

Tarik "⁠tarik⁠" Celik has been without a home since his departure from CLG in early July, at a point when he decided to take a break from competitions for the remainder of 2016 to focus on streaming.

His break has been cut short however, as he returned to active duty sooner than expected, joining OpTic at the expense of Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz.

OpTic have made the move despite showing improvement since the addition of Oscar "⁠mixwell⁠" Cañellas, most importantly winning the Americas Minor and qualifying for Cologne at the offline qualifier.

At the major itself however they finished last in their group, consisting of Ninjas in Pyjamas, Natus Vincere and FlipSid3, and also ended up in 15th-16th place at ELEAGUE.

"Today it was announced that I would be replaced in the starting line-up of Optic CS:GO with Tarik from CLG. Obviously this wasn't my decision, and they did what they felt like was best for the future of the team, and I wish them luck for the future." Jarguz said in a statement, the full version of which you can find here.

"This is where I assume the team had other ideas and started to think about changes that they felt were necessary to take them to the next level. I believe that with Tarik they will do well, as he is a fantastic player. I just wish they had told me two weeks ago when they first approached him instead of me learning it from a third party source, as now the season has started and my options will be limited."

Keith "⁠NAF⁠" Markovic
Oscar "⁠mixwell⁠" Cañellas
William "⁠RUSH⁠" Wierzba
Tarik "⁠tarik⁠" Celik

Their debut with the new player will come later today, in an ESL Pro League Season 4 series versus Liquid, scheduled to start at 04:00 .

Good for Tarik (i don't think any "competitive" pro, not the Maikele/Skytten type of players who can go months without a team - and when they join it's ex-Winterfox xD should stay 6 months without a team) who could find a team and not waste 6 months, like he would have done if he had waited 2017 to join a team. This was bound to happen, stanislaw is the most in-consistent player on optic. I would say stan is better than tarik gamesense wise, but tarik is better fragging wise, what I think optic is looking for, I don't even know if tarik will fit in with optic's playstyle, time would tell, mixwell adapted well, only time would tell about tarik.
