Cloud9 decimate VG; to quarter-finals

Cloud9 are through to quarter-finals from first place in Group D following a 16-4 score on Mirage versus VG.CyberZen.

The last winners' match took place on Mirage, and the two teams started exchanging the first eight rounds evenly, as Cloud9 took the pistol round while VG.CyberZen won a couple of forceful gunrounds as Terrorists.

The American-Canadian roster got multiple rounds in a row to their name afterwards, coming out on top of late-round situations with relative ease, securing a comfortable 11-4 half.

Cloud9 are the fourth team in StarSeries quarter-finals

A quick pistol round on the B bombsite went Cloud9's way as well, followed by a scary anti-forcebuy situation saved by Tyler "⁠Skadoodle⁠" Latham, who picked up an ace with the UMP-45.

The Chinese had little to work with as they were down 4-14 and Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip's team finished them off only after two more rounds.

I couldn't give two shits about Team Liquid losing an online match to some onliners. They're performing on LAN though right now, so it could be a honeymoon phase all over again, but so far, they have played against non-notable teams (EnVyUs are slumping as fuck, and they played against two unprepared chinese teams. The CN teams came prepared for REAL CS not pug CS). Its weird cause Team Liquid lost to compLexity WITH s1mple, and that was an online match. Team Liquid = NA Virtus.Pro confirmed!? (In the aspect that they suck online and are decent on LAN. I know VP = Burger killer)
