aAa out with the old, in with the new
aAa removes their old Counter-Strike team and brings in esport-EUs team.
The well known French organization Against All Authority recently had a downfall when Kyle "noth1ng" Saadi and Gaetan "Shq" Varlotta left the team to a fresh start with emulates former player Mickael "mSx" Cassisi. Instead of rebuilding the team aAa decided to change to a totally new team. The team of choice became esport-EU’s team who recently attended WCG in Köln. Although they managed to surpass the group stage they were knocked out early while playing mTw in the first elimination round.
The former esport-EU team now playing for aAa consists of the following players:
Boisnard "cosMo" Warren
Verloes "Diodel" Rodolphe
Charnet "drizzer" Benjamin
Colas "loduN" Rémi
Prieur "RevZ" Rémy
Nicolas "Dr.Crow" Vaissaud (backup player)
I caught a few words with the manager of the team Matthias "Zazie" Jégou:
Was it a obvious choice to choose the e-sports.eu team?It wasn't that easy to chose them because our former players from the last line-up also proposed an attractive team but we finally made the choice of the stability. They have changed only 2 players these past 2 years and lately achieved very good results.
What expectations do you have from the team?We don't want to put them under the pressure of results, we just expect them to keep doing their things their way. They did really good so far, so I don't see any reasons why they would stop now.
What are the next goals? We will attend the PingArena event in the south of France at the end of the year and we will see how it goes there. Except that, we have the online leagues to play (EPS and Extreme Masters), we have an interesting role to play there.
Thanks for your time! Any last words or shout outs?
I would like to thanks our former players Geno TDSI and MarM for what they've done and wish them good luck in whatever they gonna do now and also thanks our sponsors Sennheiser, Roccat, Coolermaster, Gotserv and qpad.
What will happen with the three ex members is yet unclear but we can hope to see them in the nearby future.
The clan-less ex aAa players are:
Guillaume "Geno" Ntep
Tristan "TDSI" Jouanne
Guillaume "Marmi" Vanhems
aAa will get their first chance to prove themselves at the French event PingArena towards the end of the year. Otherwise we will see them playing in the nearby future in the EPS and EM3 leagues.
