Copenhagen Games 2017 announced

Copenhagen Games will return for the seventh year in a row, with organizers announcing an increased prizepool and better scheduling and coverage for the event that will be held in April of 2017.

The initial information about the latest edition of most popular Danish esport event has been announced, with major changes and improvements being one of the things the event organizers cited in the initial press release

Copenhagen Games 2017 will take place on the following dates:

12th of April: Doors open
13th of April: Tournament
14th of April: Tournament
15th of April:  Tournament, finals and after party
16th of April: Surprise event

 


Øksnehallen, the venue for Copenhagen Games  

CS:GO will have two tournaments: one mixed, and one female only, but the prizepools and number of teams to attend still unknown.

The event will once again be held at Øksnehallen in the heart of the Danish capital.

Why is it a motivation for girls to play more if there's a female only event? Isn't it the opposite? If they would play in a normal tournament they would need to get better and play more, because otherwise they lose in the first round, which will be the case in this one if a female team decides to play in the "mixed" tournament.

Waste of time. Foreign students often come here thinking they'll learn danish. That's until they arrive here, and they realise there's no fucking need to do that, since most of us speak english. If you're in the south-west part of Denmark, you might want to learn to speak german instead though.
