fRoD - "Things are going to change"
23-11-2008 12:24
With the closure of the Championship Gaming Series, several of the former American Counter-Strike 1.6 stars are once again looking at a return to the game.
America has over the years, been housing several successful Counter-Strike 1.6 teams, winning notable events such as World Cyber Games and Eletronic Sports World Cup. The closure of Championship Gaming Series, the Americans are once again going back to the game. One of the most recognized players, Danny "fRoD" is one of the players looking to go back to Counter-Strike 1.6 and represent America with pride.
The compLexity member insists to go back to the game and represent America the way it should be. In a discussion on the L.A. complexity forums, he states that the current American teams are not representing American well enough.
In a reply to one of the user entries on the forum, fRoD states he does not find Gravitas Gaming having the experience and he’s certain how to beat the euros on a consistent level.

When will compLexity mark their official return to Counter-Strike 1.6, will Team 3D and more follow? We have been watching the American scene closely these last days. So stay tuned for more news from America.

"We definitely have beaten GG and x3o several times, and we have more knowledge and experience so yes we can compete right now against those top european teams. Just because a team has an easy road to a decent placing doesnt mean ANYTHING. None of those teams have been able to do anything or represent the USA proudly. Things are going to change."

"Foster a lot of experience comes into play when considering all this and I mean frankly they dont have that experience(gg etc), nor the skill to get it done at the biggest stages of gaming, which coL proved to do. While we were losing online to usa teams back in the day we still dominated the international scene. I know what it takes to beat euros, and on a consistent level. Not you, not anyone here, nor those american teams you mentioned know either."
