SK pass OpTic in first round
SK defeated OpTic 16-10 on Train to secure their first win in ESL One New York's Swiss group stage.
Train was chosen for the third match of the Swiss system's first round between OpTic and SK, with the former starting as Counter-Terrorists and getting off to a 5-1 start on the back of two quad-kills from Keith "NAF" Markovic.
From there onwards, the half was very much in the hands of the Brazilians, beginning with a 2v2 going their way. Forcing their opponents on low economy over and over, SK won eight rounds in a row before dropping the very last round of the half for a 9-6 lead.

SK scare OpTic off on Train
The score was equalized shortly after Tarik "tarik" Celik won a 1v1 in the second pistol round and OpTic survived the following couple of rounds. The first gunround went their way as well, but SK managed to reply in the next forcebuy and grabbed two more gunrounds thanks to three crucial doubles in a row from Fernando "fer" Alvarenga.
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's side followed it up with an anti-eco win and didn't take long to close out the map at 16-10.
