Kinguin, GODSENT with two wins
Day one at the WESG 2016 Europe & CIS Regional Finals has come to an end for all Group A teams, with GODSENT and Kinguin both picking up two wins.
The Swedish team, one of the favourites heading into the event, got off on the wrong foot at the Stereo Plaza as they were beaten by Ukraine, a mix featuring players like Kyrylo "ANGE1" Karasiow and Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko, 16-10 on Nuke, with the HellRaisers captain posting a 1.79 rating.
And they came close to making another blunder in their next match, against Pixel, only defeating the Hungarian side in overtime.

GODSENT bounced back after opening defeat
In their final match of the day, GODSENT eased past LDLC Espoir 16-1 on Mirage to move up to the top of the group, level on points with Kinguin, who have one foot in the playoffs after picking up two close wins over Ukraine and Pixel.
