Denmark and Argentina to semis

Four semifinalists for TWC 2016 have been found, with Turkey, France, Denmark and Argentina going on to the last day of the tournament.

After Turkey and France sealed their spots in the semi's, it was time for Denmark and Singapore to fight for the third spot.

Denmark prevailed over Singapore despite a scare on Mirage

On Dust2, their map pick, Singapore failed to do much and ended the map with only four rounds. Based on that, not much was expected from the Asian team, but they managed to surprise many with a strong performance on Mirage.

Unfortunately, they couldn't close it out and fell to Denmark 16-14, and 2-0 in the end.

The last series of the day brought together Argentina and Sweden, and Jonathan "JonY BoY" Muñoz dropping 39 kills on Overpass to secure his team map one.

The Swedes swiftly replied on their pick - Mirage, sweeping the South Americans 16-5 to force map three - Cache.

Despite a weak start, Argentina managed to get a 8-7 lead to end the Terrorist half. Sweden came back strong and looked like they were going to close it out, but Nabil "nbl" Aleua and Tomás "tomi" Guardia stepped up, allowing Argentina to push it into overtime.

In an incredible fashion, the Argentinians managed to upset Sweden in the extra rounds and clutch it 19-16, 2-1 for the series.

I was born in Spain and i can tell you that even tho it's not as 3rd worldish (? as Argentina it's clearly not from the 1st world. And i visit my family in Spain every summer so yeah, i can tell that even tho Madrid is beautiful and seems like the entire country is like that, it's actually the other way around...

Well played Argentina .. But let's be honest either Turkey nor Argentina are the best on what CSGO matters, the biggest Countries didn't present their best line-ups, so that's why Argentina and Turkey are advancing on brackets .. Don't get me wrong, they're doing a great job, but if Sweden had played with their best, the score would have been totally different ..

Didn't you read what I've posted? Of course that Turkey will win this, but do you think Turkey is top 5 on CSGO? Not at all, that what I meant .. That's because best countries never planned to win this or play with their best line-ups .. Hope Argentina could gain as much experience as they can and advance as well ..

I think that Argentinian players have the talent to join a tier 2 team and learn a little bit more of the competitive level. Yet tho, knowing argentinians i think that it wouldn't work that much bcos of their way of acting and thinking, and there's no way for this 5 men roster to make a good team.
