After G2 split maps with NiP in the last match of day one at EPICENTER: Moscow, we got a hold of Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom to talk about his team's issues at ESL One New York, Group A in Moscow and more.

G2 started their journey at EPICENTER: Moscow against Ninjas in Pyjamas, to whom they lost Cobblestone before grabbing Cache for themselves.

What makes you think KennyS wouldn't have any chemistry in G2? He only played with shox in Fr national team, and they won the tournament. He used to play with RPK and he was doing fine as well. Smithzz might be a cool guy to have around, but ingame he is so underwhelming.

kennyS is good friends with Shox btw, I think only the other guys of EnvyUS Shox doesn't like but I know he is friends with kenny. I know what's going on in that team is the same like with NiP friendship gets in the way. Smithzz just been playing bad for to long, body as well is useless but because of contracts and friendship nothing will happen for a while just be patient.

Because everyone fears any opponent, competitors always fear defeat the most, and they need to get rid of this idea as much as possible. Being cocky would be for example to say that you'll win against any opponent.

ScreaM & shox - A life in their shoes. By akamatt. G2 has just lost the 3 first rounds in a match.. bodyy looks ready towards RpK, who smiles back. Across the table ScreaM lifts his head and glance towards shox. shox meets his glare, and they both know what's about to come.. ScreaM looks back at the team's money, and his heart drops. SmithZz has $5200 saved up. ScreaM feels his palms getting sweaty, he's scared. shox notices it too, and let's out a slight sigh as he realize what's coming. Then it happens, the moment they've feared. SmithZz buys the AWP. ScreaM and shox lock glares once again, and they know.. They know that their biggest fear has just come to life. shox tries to force a smile towards SmithZz. SmithZz is happy, cheering for G2 to win now. A tear slowly appears on ScreaM's face, all hope has vanished from his eyes. RpK and bodyy now realize what's going on. bodyy looks at the freezetime, which is about to hit 0. RpK starts screaming "LE NOOOOO" while shox pads his mates back in support. ScreaM and bodyy grab eachothers hand, and start mumbling "kumbaya-my-lord-kumbayaa". The freezetime hits 0, and SmithZz runs off. The rest of G2 is paralyzed by fear, this is their nightmare.
