Another tie in Moscow: SK, fnatic 1-1
SK and fnatic end their match with another 1-1 - with both teams winning their opponents map pick (Train 16-9 for SK, Mirage 16-5 for fnatic).
Lincoln "fnx" Lau opened up the first map of the series, Train, with an explosive USP-S quad kill, leading his team towards an advantage early in the map.
SK quickly got to a 7-2 lead before fnatic started building up steam, finding most of their success towards the inner site. At 8-6, SK was on a weak buy but managed to take it nonetheless thanks to a Fernando "fer" Alvarenga Mag-7 double kill early in the round.

SK were in control throughout the first map
fer and Epitacio "TACO" de Melo combined for all five kills on the second pistol round, allowing SK to get to a 12-6 lead before fnatic could buy on the CT side.
The first full buy round featured four AWPs, two on both sides, but it was the one in Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer's hands that had the biggest impact. fnatic utilized the double AWP effectively for a couple of rounds, getting to 12-9, but two consecutive rounds from SK were enough to break the economy of the Swedes.
fnx's 2v1 clutch to make it 14-9 proved to be crucial, as it effectively sealed the deal for the Brazilians on Train.

Simon "twist" Eliasson and co. took the first three rounds of Mirage and the lead for the first time in the series.
The Brazilians tied the score 3-3 as soon as the guns rolled out, however, they couldn't continue with the same pace as fnatic were regularly finding entry kills and clutching out the rare rounds they didn't.
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and co. managed to pick up a couple of rounds toward the end of the half, going from a 3-9 to a 5-10 scoreline.

Unsurprisingly, Dennis "dennis" Edman picked up three kills on the CT pistol, and clean anti-eco's furthered fnatic's lead. The Swedes quickly found themselves 14-5 up, with SK deciding to save in hope of an overtime or at least to get more rounds on the board - as the round difference could be a deciding factor in who goes on to the playoffs.
It didn't happen though, as dennis and olofmeister combined for two kills on upper mid to shut down the last round to seal and deal on Mirage: 16-5 for fnatic.
