Epsilon & ENCE qualify for EU Minor

The first qualifier for the PGL Regional Minor Championship has finished, with Epsilon eSports and ENCE securing spots for the LAN in November.

After 11 European teams unsuccessfully protested the direct invites for the Minor earlier this week, two new teams for the PGL-hosted event have been found through the online qualifier.

In the last day of the first qualifier, the Swedes of Epsilon cruised past iNation before meeting Tricked in the deciding match.

Epsilon will feature on another Minor - the third for REZ and draken

Jakob "JUGi" Hansen and Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen had solid games over the three-map affair, but Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen's team wasn't able to get more than one map in the series. After losing Train 16-9, William "draken" Sundin and co. won their map pick - Mirage (16-9) and closed the deal on Cobblestone (16-7).

42 - 56 -14 68.2 62.2% 0.81
29 - 62 -33 56.0 51.4% 0.60

On the other side of the bracket, ENCE eliminated Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans's LDLC, who had connectivity issues, before moving on to Bpro that featured Emiliyan "spyleadeR" Dimitrov and Nikolay "nkl" Krastev.

The Finns took down the Bulgarian team 2-0, starting with a 16-13 win on Train and ending with an 21-16 overtime game on Mirage.

what happened to attax ? they didnt play against tricked and I didnt see the match on hltv

They lost their match against singularity and went out, singularity went out because they were missing a small part of their demos when attax accused them of cheating.

aTTaX lost the game - so they were out. Singularity were disqualified because of the demo issue - so they were also out. Tricked recieved a default win against attax/singularity since both teams "lost". Doesn't make much sense, but that is how FACEIT Cups work.

hmm thanks I thought attax play against tricked since singularity disqualified cuz I saw this on match page thats why I asked ""** Singularity forfeit the match due to not recording POV demos, ALTERNATE aTTaX advance to the quarter-finals""

hltv.org/news/18942-european-teams-prote.. yes basically 11 teams have file a protest against the invitation of fnatic, heroic, hellraisers and space soldier and left only 4 slots for qualifer and they threaten to not participate if the organizer do not change the decision.

LDLC should be qualified. Shame on Face it and their stupid rules. You can't play with a standin and have to play 4v5 when one of your players suffer from electricity shutdown, wtf is that ?

Ok ty. When a tournament/qualifier ends, It would be nice have a summ up of what the winner teams get by winning the tournament in the news text.

Yea it is pretty tough to know sometimes unless you happen to have read about it. Personally I usually use liquidpedia to find info about events. They have different categories there from premier tournaments down to just random small ones etc. :) (link forwards to premier tournaments page) wiki.teamliquid.net/counterstrike/Premie..
