Cloud9 beat NRG for a second win

Cloud9 manage their second victory of the tournament, taking down NRG with a 16-9 win on Cache.

Timothy "⁠autimatic⁠" Ta and Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip exploded out of the squeaky door on Cache to pick up three kills and the first round of the map, but NRG bounced back instantly with Johannes "⁠tabseN⁠" Wodarz managing three of his own on the following force buy.

NRG got up to 4-1 before Cloud9 managed to tie the score at 4-4, with Mike "⁠shroud⁠" Grzesiek's 1v2 proving to be crucial in allowing his team to equalize the score.

Despite tabseN's double kill in mid that helped his team get a round late in the half, it was Jordan "⁠n0thing⁠" Gilbert and co. taking over the lead with a 9-6 score before the switch.

Despite a tough start, Cloud9 ended the half with a three round lead

NRG picked up the pistol off the back of a B rush, isolating autimatic in checkers and equalizing the score at 9-9 before Cloud9 took back the lead with the first buy round. 13-9 down, NRG were in a 4v3 but didn't manage to deal with Tyler "⁠Skadoodle⁠" Latham's AWP on B - leaving them empty handed once again.

After that, Cloud9 closed out the match 16-9 to leave the Euro-American team without any gun rounds in the second half.

against shitty teams he'll take aim duels all day and win them 9 times out of 10 because he's one of the best in the world mechanically, with EU teams obviously he can't do that, in real matches he's a bombsite anchor.

any good player will take every aim duel against shitty teams as well, he isn't special. he's just bad against better teams because that's his playstyle.

his Mechanics and aim are pretty high into the Elite level lol. Probably top 5 or so. That being said as an overall player he can be a let down a lot

i think tabsen brings enough firepower to compete in T1 competitions. Atleast, you should give him a try. would love to see him in mouz or some international team, cuz NRG will go nowhere :/

What a surprise. you put 5 T2 players who failed in their past in one team and they are...drumroll...T2! woot woot the fact that they qualified shows how poor NA scene is atm its ridiculous that they have the same amount of spots as EU. EU Proleague is hard business and very good teams cant qualify while NA has more spots than international relevant teams.gg
