dignitas complete the comeback on the Terrorist side of Nuke to win the match 16-14 against Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Despite a second round scare by Dignitas' force buy, Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to get a clean 7-0 start as Terrorists on Nuke, basing their strategy on taking the outer part of the map with heavy utility early in rounds.

The Danes picked up their first round in the following one with Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke and René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg getting kills in yard. Unfortunately, they weren't able to stop a limited buy inner site execute from the Ninjas, resulting in their economy being promptly reset - making it 8-1.

Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif's eco frags finally resulted in a round win for Dignitas, with cajunb joining in on the action on the lower site and picking up two of his own to make it 10-2.

Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen's troops managed to get three in a row before the Tec-9-armed Terrorist side managed to find good entries on A to make it 11-4 for the half.

Xizt's team was doing all that was needed on the Terrorist side of Nuke

Dignitas picked up a couple of rounds to get to 7-11, but Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg clutched a 1v2 - only for his team to get reset in the following round. The EPICENTER: Moscow champions used the fact to get more done on the Terrorist side, finally equalizing the score at 12-12.

After getting back into the lead, Ninjas in Pyjamas went for a double-AWP setup that ended up costing them, with the Danes successfully executing on the A site, rendering the snipers ineffective on the retake.

Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg and Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund combined with a Scout and the CZ-75 to take it to the wire before Dignitas closed the match 16-14.

More than a few months imo. k0nfig and Magiskb0Y are both under 20 years old. Edit: OK maybe not top3 as that would be hard for any team, but at least top 5.

Yet if you think about it, they did way better than many people would have believe before the start of the event, beating SK quite convincly (I know SK are kinda in a slump at the moment but I was doubting it would be enough to beat them) and loosing the closest possible against Dignitas which is one of the best team of the world at the moment. I'm a "Nip Fanboy" as some people would call it, often disappointed by their performances but today I wasn't disapointed at all but rather happy to see Nip can still put something which is worth watching and cheering for. Maybe they will get eliminated and missed their chance by loosing against Dignitas. But I ain't being sad, not yet!

New nuke sucks balls. Silo way too easy to get to and that gives you tons of access to parts of the map that weren't opened to you on old nuke. If they're going to put railings outside leading to CT heaven at least make it skillful to jump onto silo. At least theres a reward for good movement. New nuke, you have to be a retard and more to miss that jump

Yeah maybe, but IGLing is a lot of additional pressure, and MSL doesn't really need to be a mad fragger with Magisk/Konfig/Cajunb trio. He often sacrifices himself to get info

MSL is the only IGL in the team, maybe sometimes another guy helps him, but he's the one giving positions to his men and setting up strats.

Magisk and k0nfig are rising, but i think that quite a big difference is what alamost noone noticed. MSL is still (sometimes) last in frags and ADR, but he visibly improved so hes now decent contributor to the team and he does not have his offgames lately (like xizt had here, which cost NiP a map).

Nip didn't played that bad except forcing in second round which resulted in poor economy. I would give credit to Dignitas for absolutely brilliant T side.
