SK defeat Cloud9 in São Paulo

SK Gaming have moved up to the top of Group B at the ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals after defeating Cloud9 16-6 on Dust2.

Starting off on the CT side of the map, SK Gaming won the pistol round and followed it up with the two anti-eco rounds to secure a 3-0 lead. Cloud9 hit back in the first gun round, but they were unable to build on that win, which severely hurt their economy.

SK remained in the driving seat for quite some time, with the scoreline blooming to a 9-1 advantage for the Brazilians. It was only then that Cloud9's offense finally came to life, and they made up for the slow start by winning five rounds in a row, powered by several three-kill rounds by Jordan "⁠n0thing⁠" Gilbert.

SK are now 2-1 in the tournament

Cloud9 were left frustrated in the second half as SK further enlarged their lead with a clean B execute in the pistol round. The North Americans came close to winning the first gun round of the half, only to be denied by Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David, who picked up four kills to help his team overturn a 3on5 situation.

With a sizeable lead and plenty of money to work with, SK refused to take their off the pedal, and eventually locked down the map without giving up a single round in the second half, securing their second victory in São Paulo.

SK looking good on their homesoil on last two matches, lets see if they can keep that good form till end. On the other hand Cloud9 was terrifying hope they can solve this, if they wanna prove they are NA's hope.

I was actually very scaried when I saw the map. Dust 2 is not a good map for SK, even though they managed to overcome Cloud 9 to reach a very expressive win. They are looking in shape, another team compared to that against NIP yesterday. Watch these guys tomorrow, the Dignitas game will give us a tip about the next ESL world champion! NTC!

tbh, c9 expected to beat sk on it since its probably their second worst map after cobble, but sk has yet to be beaten by na on d2 with this roster on lan.
