karrigan: "I get to call how I want to"

In our next interview from ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals, Finn "karrigan" Andersen talks about the transfer from Astralis to FaZe, his first weeks in the new team and their matches in São Paulo.

Since the addition of Finn "karrigan" Andersen, FaZe have managed to advance to ELEAGUE playoffs from Group A and are now sitting at a 1-2 record at Pro League's Season 4 Finals.

In the following interview, FaZe's new addition shared some of the details behind the transfer from Astralis, going on the road just days after the signing, their success at ELEAGUE and more:

The potential is there. Give this lineup 3 months and they'll be up there i think. Either that or they'll have the same old problem of communication. It's difficult when they don't all speak the same language.

Never said communication was their only problem. Just a major one. Look at splyce for example. There are too many different languages for them to be a successful team. It might help now that faze is fully scandinavian... who knows. Also them having a completely new igl is a very valid excuse. Hence why if you give them a few months to get familiar they wil perform better. Which is what karrigan was saying.

Faze is right there with mouz... can always win a bo3 against anyone, but will never actually do it when it matters.

im talking like making it to the grand final or actually winning something. edit: playoffs are not a teams goal, winning it all is.

FaZe winning a 250k$+ tournament surely is non-existance, but you said it yourself "when it matters" and they put themselves at the playoffs, wich mattered.

You're probably right. I don't know the situarion there. Considering that all the players were reasonably skilled and seeing their performance in esl i made a guess that it was their communication that let them down.

Could be bad communication ofcourse, which can even occur in a team with 5 players from the same nation. But joey has gathered alot of exp. Playing with UK players in the past few years :p

Speaks mainly north germanic languages, is in the same general geographic location, has the cross thingo on their flag... i mean it's not technically part of scandinavia but they're so closely related they may as well be.

suomi isnt north germanic and having a nordic cross as the flag doesnt mean its scandinavian in any way either (see iceland)

Communication has not been the issue because of the language barrier, but because there gas not been an igl and they only took aim duels, no tactics
