SK fend off NiP; to grand final

With Fernando "⁠fer⁠" Alvarenga's triple, SK quickly got rolling on the CT side of Nuke. The first gunround saw Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo getting two opening kills on yard, while Ninjas in Pyjamas couldn't get any rounds on the board in the first seven.

A quick A execute gave the Swedes their first round, and two clutches afterwards (1v2 from Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg and a 1v1 from Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström) pushed them to 5-7. The Brazilian side stopped the streak and got their eighth round, but Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to secure the last two rounds thanks to great individual play from Xizt and Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund.

SK won the other pistol round as well, but GeT_RiGhT's double in the following forcebuy turned the economy around. Two more triples from the 26-year-old and one from Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill in the next three gunrounds gave Ninjas in Pyjamas a 14-9 lead, which they soon turned into a victory at 16-10.

Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David's ace kicked off map two, Overpass, but it was Ninjas in Pyjamas who won the pistol as the star player had no time left to defuse the bomb. SK replied with their forcebuy, sending Ninjas in Pyjamas on low economy. At 4-1, the Brazilian side came out on top of a close 2v2 situation on the A bombsite, and Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau saved a 1v1 in the next round for a 7-1 lead.

Two entries from f0rest and GeT_RiGhT's quick quad-kill in the following two gunrounds then put Ninjas in Pyjamas up to three rounds, but a very strong defence on the B bombsite secured a 12-3 half for SK.

With a clean CT pistol and surviving the next two rounds, Ninjas in Pyjamas took three rounds to their name. Two entries from SK in the gunround and subsequently the round win broke the Swedish economy however, as FalleN's team got to map point and shortly took the series to the decider.

SK got another great start as Terrorists on Cobblestone, picking up the first three rounds on the back of coldzera's quad-kill in the pistol round. Xizt's triple on the B bombsite then put Ninjas in Pyjamas on the scoreboard, but another B attack broke their economy.

FalleN's triple and a 1v1 in the second gunround forced Ninjas in Pyjamas on another eco, as SK got a 7-1 lead. Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg then put up an opening kill and a 1v1 clutch, while in the next round SK took too long to execute. The Brazilian side then opted for a forcebuy, but it backfired as Xizt shut down the B rush with four quick kills, helping his team claw back to 7-6.

The remaining two rounds in the half went SK's way, and the subsequent pistol round where FalleN got four kills extended their lead to 12-6. After they clinched the first gunround, Ninjas in Pyjamas had to eco but turned the next three B executes into four rounds in a row.

SK fended off another B execute, securing match point at 15-10, and secured the series once fer won a very smart 1v2.
