GODSENT defeat Epsilon 2-1

GODSENT beat Epsilon 2-1 at the PGL Regional Minor Championship Europe (16-14 on Train, 16-21 on Cache, and 21-17 on Mirage).

Epsilon who finished Group B in the first place, and the Group A second-place finishers GODSENT faced off in the first upper bracket semi-final at PGL Regional Minor Championship Europe.

The first map—Train—started with Epsilon on the CT-side. André "BARBARR" Möller & company were able to win the pistol and first gun rounds to take a 4-0 lead. GODSENT replied with a round of their own but their economy got reset after they lost the following round. After Epsilon extended their lead to 8-1, Andreas "znajder" Lindberg clutched a 1vs1, paving the way for a 6-9 score at halftime.

GODSENT are now a best-of-three away from the Major qualifier

The second half was all about GODSENT at the beginning as Jesper "JW" Wecksell's team secured the first five rounds. When the score was 12-12, William "draken" Sundin won a 1vs2 to take the lead for Epsilon but GODSENT came back from 12-14 to win the map after Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson's quad kill in the last round.

Epsilon started the second map on the T-side and pulled ahead of GODSENT in the first three rounds. Robin "flusha" Rönnquist & company recovered in the gun rounds and led 9-6 at the end of the first half.

The score was tied at 12-12 in the second half, just like it was on Train, but this time the map went to overtime as Fredrik "REZ" Sterner got a quad kill in a 2vs4 situation. Epsilon were fairly comfortable in overtime and won Cache 21-16.

The last map started out like a bloodbath as GODSENT couldn't get it going on the T-side and trailed 2-13 at halftime. The tables turned in the second half and GODSENT were the ones who dominated. After having a 13-2 CT-side themselves, they took the match to overtime where they managed to win the map with a 21-17 scoreline.

Well it does, they're struggling against Tier 2, they can still get beaten by Space Soldiers or Hellraisers or get to the main qualifier and get smashed out of it.

Did you watch the match? Epsilon was playing great cs and godsent was just lucky in some rounds, flusha carrying, jw bad as fuck, lekr0 was doing good job, znajder not bad but not good too. Epsilon was better, i think they deserved more to win but its 2late now, i think they can become better and even reach top1 if they will do some changes in team or just train harder.
