Na`Vi on to decider over aTTaX

ALTERNATE aTTaX took the first round of the match on Cobblestone, stopping Null element’ A push. The sweetness of the pistol win quickly turned bitter, though, as a successful B push on the following round got the CIS team on the board. Bittersweet quickly became sour for the German team, as Natus Vincere were then able to take the first gun round and following anti-eco for a 5-1 lead.

Christian "⁠crisby⁠" Schmitt was able to get two opening frags playing from rock on B, followed up by two AWP kills by Kevin "⁠keev⁠" Bartholomäus to put a second round on the board in the 11th round, 9-2. Finally, the, Natus Vincere were able to close the half with a 9 round lead, 12-3, going into the CT half. ALTERNATE aTTaX then got denied in the second pistol round, and Natus Vincere won the remaining rounds to close the map out 16-3.

The second map started very much as the first, except just on Overpass, with ALTERNATE aTTaX winning the CT pistol round and losing against Natus Vincere’s pistol and armor buy. From there on out it was Natus Vincere’s playground. Finally ALTERNATE aTTaX were able to stop Natus Vincere with an aggressive B hold and put another tally on the board, 6-2. The German squad, instantly starting to feel comfortable, added two more rounds to their count, 6-4.

ALTERNATE aTTaX weren’t able to turn the half around, but with seven rounds they still managed to stay in contention. The second pistol round was crucial for ALTERNATE aTTaX, but Ioann "⁠Edward⁠" Sukhariev with his trusty USP got three kills in monster setting his team up for a strong beginning in the second half. The first gun round, slowly played by the terrorists around mid, connector, and B, ended when Edward was able to take out two of the last three players on the site while Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács did the same with keev, the bomb planter, increasing the lead to 12-7.

A B execute with 14-7 on the board finally went the way of aTTaX, but it was too little too late and Natus Vincere closed it out 16-8 for a spot in the decider match against SK.
