TyLoo, VG to DH Masters closed qual

DreamHack has revealed that the two most notable Chinese teams: TyLoo and VG.CyberZen, have been handed invites for the closed part of the Asian DreamHack Masters Las Vegas qualifier that will take place online on December 3-4.

The Asian qualifier for DreamHack Masters Las Vegas will feature eight teams in total, with six open qualifier teams joining the two invited teams—TYLOO and VG.CyberZen.

Players from India & Middle East will be the first to compete in their regional open qualifiers, with players from East Asia, South East Asia, Oceania and China following soon after.

DD's TyLoo got invited directly to the closed qualifier

The open qualifiers will be played out with the following schedule:

India & Middle East – November 17-19
East Asia – November 21-27
South East Asia – November 21-27 (2 spots for the closed qualifier)
Oceania – November 18-20
China – November 23-27

Sign-ups are open on masters.dreamhack.com.

When all eight teams are known, the single-elimination best-of-three closed qualifier will take place, with the best team qualifying for the DreamHack Masters Las Vegas—the $450,000 tournament that will take place on February 15-19.

the chinese scene is getting good exposure recently. this is a good chance for them to impress. tyloo is so close to being a legit competitive team for the teams at the top. but i believe cyberzen will overcome this closed qualifier.
