NiP beat mouz, FaZe win over Heroic

The match started on Overpass with MOUZ playing a solid defense on A, but eventually giving up the first round to Ninjas in Pyjamas’s attack. After two anti-eco wins the Swedes tried to play towards B, but a triple by Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač put a halt to the attack and MOUZ bagged the first gun round. After three solid rounds on defense, Ninjas in Pyjamas were able to win a round with only upgraded pistols after taking connector and mid and rushing the A site.

Quickly, Ninjas in Pyjamas started running away with the half as the European combine were unable to stop Ninjas in Pyjamas’s offensives, the latter coming out of most duels and trades with the upper hand for an 8-4 lead. Finally, MOUZ took a tactical timeout and won two rounds in a row, but Ninjas in Pyjamas closed out the half with a 9-6 lead.

MOUZ lost the first two rounds of the half, falling 11-6, but were able to close the gap after the first buy round with two of their own. Quickly, though, Ninjas in Pyjamas got back on their mark locking it down as MOUZ couldn’t find their identity on the T side.

FaZe started out the match as they ended their last one against Cloud9, winning. With a strong start on the CT side of Train in the pistol round and winning the following two, including the first gun round, FaZe were off to a flying start. HEROIC briefly surfaced for air winning the fifth round, but their heads were quickly dunked back under as FaZe picked back up where they left off and kept their wall up round in and round out for a 14-1 half.

The second half started with HEROIC winning the pistol round and following it up, but it was just too little too late as FaZe closed the match out without a problem 16-3.
