Stewie: "All matches in 1 day is cool"

Our first interview from IEM Oakland day two features Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, who talked about losing to Immortals at iBUYPOWER, Group B opponents and Cloud9's narrow Mirage with FaZe.

Cloud9 began IEM Oakland poorly with a 1-8 deficit on Mirage against FaZe before falling short in the overtime.

After their first match, Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip sat down with us to talk about the loss as well as the other opponents in Cloud9's group. He also shared his thoughts on the round-robin format and playing all group stage matches on the same day.

i completely agree with stewart. it is really cool to watch all the group matches in 1 day, altho it is a bit sad that there are 2 matches going on at the same time. i dont particularly like missing matches :( also i hope that the upper bracket matches will be played in a more eu friendly hour.

most of the teams are from eu. they have their biggest following in eu. spectator wise eu viewers more than quadruple muricans.

and? it's in America my guy, they're not gonna play the matches at 5 in the afternoon when there's like 10 matches. The point of having it in American is so that Americans can watch it easily. EU hosts all the majors anyways so muricans have to suffer.

they can play the matches at 5 in the afternoon. its the weekends, people can follow it easily. finals will draw way more viewers than the group stage bo1s. also ad revenue.

yeah I'm seeing the follow-up comments now and I see that he actually thought that, but I didn't think someone's English would be that bad, and trying to correct a native English speaker using the famous "are" screamed of a troll.
