NiP go 2-0, SK beat mouz

NiP beat Cloud9 on Train in a match going all the way, 16-14, while SK beat a wobbly mousesports on Dust2, 16-10.

The first round on Train came with a T rush by Ninjas in Pyjamas on the inside site, but two kills from Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and two from Timothy "autimatic" Ta allowed Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham to get the last frag on a 1vs1 against Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg and defuse the bomb to take the first round. Ninjas in Pyjamas played B once again on the first gun round, but this time were able to bag it with an aggressive afterplant play.

Ninjas in Pyjamas quickly got themselves a 6-3 lead, which they were able to maintain as they kept Cloud9 at bay economically. The half kept going the way of the Ninjas as the Swedish team managed to close out the half with an ample 10-5 lead.

The Ninjas keep their streak going

The second half started well for the Ninjas, as the Swedish team took the pistol and the two anti-ecos, as the North American side were unable to plant on either of the first two rounds. Cloud9 were then able to win two rounds to not let the match completely slip away, but at 13-7, the half was still a large mountain to climb.

It looked like Cloud9 were well on their way all of a sudden, as they made it all the way back to 13-11, but successive triples by Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi and Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund got Ninjas in Pyjamas on match point. The North Americans didn’t give up, though, and they charged like a bull to the 30th round. There, however, Ninjas in Pyjamas were able to stick it out and with GeT_RiGhT as the last man standing with enough time to defuse, the Swedes bagged the match.

MOUZ started doing against SK what they couldn’t do against Ninjas in Pyjamas, win a pistol round. The celebration was cut short, however, as a forcebuy by the Brazilians gave them the second and third rounds, thrusting SK to an early lead. Two kills on B in a 2vs2 by Denis "denis" Howell gave MOUZ their second round, but SK won the following one for a 5-2 to keep the European team on their heels. MOUZ were able to win a couple more rounds to shorten the distance with SK to 5-4, but the Brazilians quickly abused mid and B to take the following round and keep their lead intact, 6-4.

coldzera & co. keep themselves alive as they push mouz close to the edge

SK finally got comfortable attacking and were able to exploit MOUZ’ defenses over and over again, to take a 10-5 lead into the half, but another pistol round win by the European side kept their hopes for the match alive on the terrorist side. A triple by Marcelo "coldzera" David knocked MOUZ back, though, and another anti-eco loss just about put the nail on the coffin as SK won the following five rounds against a completely deflated MOUZ to get on match point. Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and company gave it a last go at the end, but the Brazilians closed it out, 16-10.

why c9? why can't you show some consistency, why u breaking my heart? why do they play so passive on ct side train, nip literally played no respect cs on their t side. also stew needs to hit the DM's hard. those whiffs were hard to watch. gtr best player of all time, even when his team was choking he clutched. sk v. mouz was boring probably only brazilians watched it.

Mouz is always boring to watch. I mean, you have the classic NiKo highlight and then it's just like a team of failure.
