ELEAGUE playoff bracket set

After four weeks of play in Atlanta, the eight teams having made it to ELEAGUE Season 2's playoffs have been placed into the brackets.

Eight teams will fight for the bulk of $1,100,000 at the ELEAGUE Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, where our Season 2 winners will be found. With only a handful of teams left, a new champion will be crowned on December 3 putting behind us 44 days of top level offline competition.

Virtus.pro will be looking to defend their title in Atlanta

After Group D's Dignitas and OpTic picked up the last two spots into the playoffs, the brackets have been drawn. Here are the match-ups:

Dignitas	vs. SK
Astralis	vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas
MOUZ	vs. OpTic
Virtus.pro	vs. FaZe

The playoffs will kick-off on November 30 with the quarterfinal matches. The winners will move on to the semifinals on December 2 before our new ELEAGUE champions are crowned after the grand final, which will take place on December 3.

interesting bracket. optic losing to fnatic the first match was a ruse to avoid sk early on(or rather getting mouz first) sk and dignitas facing each other first will be nice. getting rid of one of them this early on will help optic immensely. getting by mouz should be a walk in the park. if faze takes down vp no reason for optic to not win it all. the only real threat for them is vp atm. they wont be facing either sk or dignitas til the finals. optic will be a top 3 team by the end of the year.

Dignitas is definitely top 4 team right now but I think his point is that dignitas wasn't an anti-strat target for any of tier 1 teams and that's why they had a good streak. Now VP for example will be prepared for dignitas, take them seriously.

Why is Astralis and SK able to meet in semis when the came from the same group, and the same with mouse and Faze?? A bit weird that in the one bracket there is not a team from Group A, and in the second bracket there i not a team from Group C.

I think i figured out the draw Winner of D (Dig) vs 2nd of C (SK) Winner of C (Ast) vs 2nd of B (NiP) ----------------------- Winner of B (VP) vs 2nd of A (FaZe) Winner of A (Mouz) vs 2nd of D (OpTic) ^^^These 2 games can be swapped around and there is no difference So the group winner plays the second place of the group on the left of it.

Their other maps are decent except Nuke. If SK can fix Nuke (which TACO's interview suggests they're doing), I don't see Dignitas stealing even a single map.

They won't play Train or Cache. Nuke goes to dignitas, Dust2 probably to SK, but you're forgetting that dignitas is strong on Overpass, Cobble and Mirage. It will be really close.

Dis is gunna be good. Except for Mousesport, these are the most in form teams. Sapphire and Prius as observers. Thorin and Moses on the desk. DDK duo, Semmler and Anders as commentators.
