dignitas run over SK in Group B

dignitas got off on the right foot at the ECS Season 2 finals after defeating SK Gaming 16-7 on Overpass.

Group B at the ECS Season 2 Finals kicked off with a match between two teams attending the event with stand-ins: SK Gaming, who are fielding Ricardo "⁠fox⁠" Pacheco after Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau was removed from the starting roster, and dignitas, who are playing with Valdemar "⁠valde⁠" Bjørn Vangså instead of Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif.

dignitas got off to a great start in the game, winning the first five rounds to put the Brazilians in danger of getting blown out. SK then picked up a round, thanks to double kills from Fernando "⁠fer⁠" Alvarenga and Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo, but they could not capitalise on that as dignitas bounced back courtesy of two crucial entry kills from Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel in the canal.

dignitas put in a great display vs. SK

The Danish team continued to run over SK's defence, with the scoreline blooming to a 12-3 advantage for the European side at the end of the half.

Now playing on the Terrorist side, SK found a lifeline as they won the first three rounds of the half following a B push in the pistol round. The first gun round also went SK's way thanks to a fast A execute, but they quickly lost control of the game as dignitas strung four rounds together to lock down the map, 16-7.
