TyLoo have secured their first victory at the ELEAGUE Major qualifier after defeating Cloud9 16-11 on Mirage.

Starting out on the Terrorist side, TyLoo won the pistol round and the following anti-ecos to get out to a 3-0 lead. But once Cloud9 got money to work with, they started getting rounds on the board, and eventually overturned the deficit.

It looked like Cloud9 were going to run away with the lead, but Ke "⁠captainMo⁠" Liu kept the score tied with a stunning 1v3 clutch. That was the start of a great run from the Chinese team, who won the next five rounds to close out the half with a commanding 10-5 lead.

TyLoo bounce back from day one defeat

With little room for error, Cloud9 picked up the pace and took the first three rounds as Terrorist to get within touching distance of TyLoo. The Chinese team replied in gun play with back-to-back rounds before Tyler "⁠Skadoodle⁠" Latham put his team back in the game with an intense 1v1.

Only three rounds separated the two sides, so many found it strange to see TyLoo go on a force buy. But the gamble paid off massively as TyLoo won the round and broke the North Americans' spirit. The Chinese team eventually hit match point, and even though Cloud9 still mustered a few rounds, they were unable to force overtime, despite a fantastic display from Timothy "⁠autimatic⁠" Ta.

I decided not to touch OpTic as they don't need any fixing. But of course you could argue and rearrange the squad in terms of the entry and other riflers like elige/rush etc.
