Teams for Assembly Winter revealed

The organisers of Assembly Winter 2017 have revealed the full list of participants for the Counter-Strike tournament.

On February 3-4, the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre will stage the 2017 Winter edition of Assembly, one of the biggest and oldest gaming events in the Scandinavian region.

Sixteen teams - 12 invited and four determined by an online qualifier, will be facing off in this tournament, with $15,000 up for grabs. The tournament will kick off with a GSL group stage, followed by the single-elimination playoffs.

Notable participants for the tournament include the new x6tence lineup, iGame, ROTY (a Finnish team featuring the likes of Tomi "⁠lurppis⁠" Kovanen and Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli), and MAXISAUCISSE, led by former EnVyUs member Timothée "⁠DEVIL⁠" Démolon.

Paranoia got trought online qualifier, same with conquer and ex-findictus. Disturbed's new team aka ENCORE could just go trought online quals, but they played LANTREK qualifier instead assembly one, idk why

Aleksi said before the qualifiers that they are not attending. No idea why though. Edit: disturbed is on vacation: "lul, my bad. I'm on vacation from next wednesday till 9th of February. We're going to attend Lantrek tho, stay tuned!"

Yeah well, that time there was bigger pricepool. Sadly the timing of the event and doubt any big teams want to go into LAN where pricepool is under 100k $. There is proper reason why there is no known teams, though its very good that Assembly wants lots of Finnish potential Pro teams there so they get practise and advertisement out of it ! :)
