Defining Moments: SK vs. Astralis

We revisit another key round win from SK, this time from their group stage match against Astralis. Epitacio "TACO" de Melo walked us through an overtime clutch on the B site that allowed the Brazilians to take the game in the latest episode of Defining Moments.

The Dust2 match between SK and Astralis has been dubbed as one of the best maps of the Major, and such maps often have exciting rounds and important clutches. To find out more about one of those rounds, we got hold of Epitacio "⁠TACO⁠" de Melo from SK.

The round in question was in overtime, with the Danish team leading 17-16 and on the brink of finishing their CT half with a 3-0 score. The round came down to some fakes, a B push and then Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo and Fernando "⁠fer⁠" Alvarenga holding off the retake in a 2v3. Find out how it all went down from TACO's perspective:

lol It's incredible that a pro player of a tier 1 team thinks he's on a 2v2 when in fact he's on a 1v2 situation. That could very well costed the playoffs to SK.
