AcilioN: "I really learned a lot"
The past couple of months in the US have been tough for the Danish talent Asger "AcilioN" Larsen, but he has learned a lot from the stay at Splyce, he says.
Last night Asger "AcilioN" Larsen was reported out of Splyce and he is now a free agent. It was, according to the organization, a joint decision and on Twitter AcilioN wrote that he misses Denmark a lot.

AcilioN hasn't had a great time in Splyce based on results.
HLTV.org have been in touch with the 20-year-old Dane to hear the reasons behind his exit from Splyce. Living in a foreign country is the main reason, but it is furthermore the style of play he doesn't feel comfortable in.
"It's a bit of everything that makes me leave Splyce. It is really difficult to live in a country where you do not know anyone other than those you play with. Me and CRUC1AL tried to get the best out of it, but Tinder was not enough. Besides that, the way the game is played is not the way I like to play, and the way we normally play CS here in Denmark. I tried to establish the way I liked to play, but it’s of course hard because it's all done in English."
Splyce's results has been far from good, and they have lost a lot of their official matches during the last six months, while there have also been some changes within the roster.
Splyce ended their season in ESL Pro League in the 13th place, and when they had to fight in the relegation match versus Rush, they completely fell apart and lost. AcilioN feels that the problems with getting the game to work also played a role in his decision to go home.
"When I joined Splyce I knew well it would take some time before we would start to do it well. We started a bit sluggish due to some computer problems, where we played with 100 fps in all of our ESL Pro League matches. It resulted in a lot of frustration within the team and we had to change some players.
With the new team I actually think we were on the right track, but after the Christmas holidays it felt like we were not playing well together anymore as we had two weeks of pracc without improvements. That resulted in a loss in the ESL Pro League relegation battle."

He had a way better time in SK Gaming with the likes of Friis and MODDII.
AcilioN experienced that the time difference that prevented him from talking to his family and friends in Denmark quickly became hard to cope with.
"I probably already started missing Denmark after a month. You do really realize how much you miss your family and friends when you are so far away and can not talk to them when you want because of the time difference."
Although he wrote on Twitter yesterday that he had a good time in Splyce and North America, he will most likely not join an NA team again.
We will see him back in action with a Danish team today, as he will fill in for Tricked in the IEM Katowice qualifier replacing Jakob "JUGi" Hansen, according to Dust2.dk.
"I probably won't play on a NA team again. I would like to return to the Danish scene, but for now we'll see what the future brings. I will stand-in for Tricked in the IEM Katowice qualifier later today, so let's see how that goes. I am 100% focused on my CS career now and I promise that I will come back strong in the Danish scene!"

At DH Winter 2014 he played with HUNDEN - he will do the same tonight in Tricked.
It has been a hard six months for AcilioN in North America, but even though neither the life in the United States nor the results lived up to the expectations, he walks away as a more mature person.
"I really learned a lot about myself in the past 6 months while I lived in the United States. I found out how I like to live my life and what I want in the future. Although it has been some tough months CS wise, I think I have developed a lot as a player, and learned how to handle the various situations and discussions inside the game. Besides that, it was also the first time I lived without my parents, so my cooking skills have developed as well."
It is still uncertain which team he will join, but the 20-year-old Dane has moved back home to Denmark, and he is planning to stay there for a while.
