H2k pickup TLR

British based team, TLR have today joined European heavyweights, H2k.

Today it has been announced that Dutch organisation, H2k have picked up a UK team for 2009. sexytime, as they used to be known, were picked up by TLR in June 2008 after a strong ESWC Qualifier losing narrowly to 4Kings in the semi-finals.

In addition, with the change of organisation, comes a change of roster. Joining the team is former leader of Team Coolermaster, zaK and powerhouse, Arch1e. pie comes in as their 6th player, and R1ck takes over managerial duties from Nic. zaK had this to say:

"With H2k-Gaming being such a well known and respected organisation, we feel that this is the ideal organisation for us to join and prove what we are capable of. We know that given the opportunity, we can improve as a team and get some good results."

H2k's gaming director Angelo Baeb made this statement regarding the pickup:

"I’m sure these guys are proud to wear the H2k Tags and represent our organization and its partners. We want to say welcome to the guys and hope that this team will show their skills in the United Kingdom and Europe."

H2K is:

Ricky "pie" Bonici (Backup)
Rick "R1ck" Brown (Manager)

They are currently competing in the ESL UK's Premiership division, you can follow their progress there.

they cant do any damage against topteams, theyll lose like close against teams like CMAX and pgs .. but not more than that gl anyway

What a joke, really. They'll just make H2k look bad, I dont understand why H2k aren't taking in any better team than that, cause there are a lot of good teams w/o an organisation out on the market, seriously...

Guys seriously whats with all the "they suck" talk? With the H2K tag they get to play against good teams wich will give them great opportunities to grow and become better. And I like that a country such as the UK gets abit of publicity and get the chance to do well. Just like fx iNNERFIRE they are randoms in my eyes but seeing a rather unknown team do well and get better makes me pleased. I like underdogs what can I say :]

you have to give them a chance really.. zaK is probably the best caller in the UK and robbs and kenjinn are both immense players, i wish them great luck.
