Tricked pull out of Legend Series LAN

After finishing first in their group and qualifying for the LAN grand finals of Legend Series #1, Tricked has announced that they will not be attending the event, prioritizing another competition. Their replacement will be the German team Legends.

Legend Series came to an end recently after the winners of two round-robin groups were found. In group A, the Danes of Tricked took the first place, while the Brazilians living in Sweden—Red Reserve—did the same in group B.

As we announced earlier, the Legend series LAN final, that will be held in Hamburg, Germany, overlaps with the DreamHack Tours open qualifier. In the end, Tricked decided that they would prioritize the open qualifier over playing the grand final of the $2,700 event and withdrew from the competition.

tahsiN played at the PGL Minor

To replace them, the organizers invited the second-placed team from group A, the German squad Legends. The most notable player in the team is Tahsin "tahsiN" Broschk, formerly of PENTA and KILLERFISH, but it was Oguzhan "brilliant" Ceylaner who was the team's best player in the tournament.

Red Reserve and Legends will be competing in Hamburg at The Garage, an esports arena that fits 50 people, tomorrow from 14:00 in a best-of-five match.

Professeur writes for HLTV.org and can be found on Twitter.

Don't take a negative view of the event. For sure it's less money as other events but the event will be held outdoor, it's a special feeling. If would Tricked not skip that event it's not a problem to travel for them, they have sponsors they paid the trip and for the unknown peoples, Denmark is nearly to Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein. It also gives semi-pro teams the chance to win a LAN. If they would participate in Major events they didn't have a dust of chance. And don't forget, it gives lower tier teams the possibility to meet other teams from Europe, e.g. Legends team will meet up the brazil Red Reserve. They living in Sweden and that's the point why they travel to that event cause it's not too far away - if they would living in Brazil they have declined. By the way it's written that the event is held in Hamburg, is not correctly, it's Schleswig-Holstein but the place belongs to Hamburg's region. For generally information Germany didn't have so much "big events" such Denmark, Sweden and the rest in the world. Other countries more and better organized as Germany - Germany is after the time in organized LANs so Legends Series THE GARAGE is a honor to have. elcgaming.com/thegarage

why travel to an event for a single match. I think we need a good tier 2-3 lan again in germany. not DH Leipzig but more the PredatorMasters in Krefeld. It is the best event in my eyes and it needs more support so it isn't in a bad spot with the minor and only gets half of the teams etc. maybe if they anounce it early and nobody else grabs the same week and have like a 100k prize pool it could get the attention it deserves and there will be a few really hardcore fans there. I know that Predator Masters 3 was the best experience of the life for at least 2 friends of mine and this needs to happen again.

That's stands in the stars.... look at this event is the same, just 2 teams at LAN hltv.org/?pageid=357&eventid=2764 In the news of Legend Series it was written 4 teams going to final, now just 2 teams. THE GERAGE would be in future a good event to make show matches or to held a qualifier for a major event, like Dreamhack Germany or kode5 for example. The german organizer must have lack of interest that's why see so slowly organized events. It beginning by purchase a ticket, example for the GSH-LAN costs around 40€ - in the Czech Republic and Slovakia you paid for a ticket 20€ also for 5 players for a whole team 85€ so cheap. And then prizepool is so low and the GSH-LAN you can winning nothing, it gives already in the beginning no motivation or would you play in a tournament where you can win nothing. Germany must take other countries as a rolemodel.

ESL Meisterschaft is like 3 times a year and has offline finals with 4 teams in Duisburg. but this is limited to German teams. TaKeTV is a totally different experience.

I heard about TaKeTV i know him from Warcraft or another game, he hosting and streaming tournaments in his house, great job. Probably is new in CSGO to host finals with small amount of teams. But typically I wish to see more teams there. Let see tomorrow how Legend Series will be.

Take did tournaments in his house for a few years and they bough a bar in his hometown and made it a esports bar that opens every day and allows you to have fun, game and watch esports events. they host tournamenst for SC2, Overwatch, Heartstone and Heros of the storm. I have seen them hosting a poker series and they have many small events every week. they had 3 CS GO tournaments. The teams and talent on the first one was the best. I couldn't go back then. I did visit season 2 and had a blast... got sick day 3&4 but the talent and teams were amazing. season 3 had a lot of teams going to otehr events in the same week instead and not even top tier casters anymore (Megamann, Jacky, Availer and Pansy); I met 2 former teammates for 4 days and had a really great time. It is so different from any bigger stage event, even ESLM where I went a few times and will next month again. here are the links APM 1: hltv.org/?pageid=82&eventid=1757 APM 2: hltv.org/?pageid=82&eventid=1958 APM 3: hltv.org/?pageid=357&eventid=2431 the number of local viewers and online viewers was really low for season 3 and therefore I belive they won#t do season 4, really sad. but I can hope.
