HellRaisers qualify for DH Tours

Featuring a single-elimination bracket, the closed qualifier for DreamHack Tours consisted of eight teams, four coming from an Open bracket played out on Saturday and four invited by DreamHack.

There were a few surprising results in the first round of the bracket, with HellRaisers being forced to go to a third map to beat Rogue Academy, and ENCORE besting Kinguin on two maps.

Tricked were the first team to reach the grand final after moving past ENCORE 2-0, with HellRaisers following suit after surviving a three-game thriller against FlipSid3 Tactics thanks to a great display from Kyrylo "⁠ANGE1⁠" Karasiow (1.42 Rating, +25 KDD).

In the grand final, it was Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk who led the charge for HellRaisers, racking up 31 kills on Nuke to put his team in the lead. Vladyslav "⁠bondik⁠" Nechyporchuk followed that up with a strong showing on Mirage to inspire his team to a 16-9 victory and a 2-0 success.

The news comes a great boost for the European mixture ahead of the SL i-League StarSeries Season 3 event, where FaZe will be their first opponent.

The final team for DreamHack Open Tours, running from May 6-8, will be determined by the North American qualifier, which is currently in the semi-final stage. The list of participants for the $100,000 tournament now looks as follows:
