FaZe beat Gambit in Kiev

FaZe started out as Terrorists and secured Cache's first pistol round with a flawless A execute. Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen's squad won the next two anti-ecos, but a quad-kill by Rustem "⁠mou⁠" Telepov in the buy round assured Gambit their first round. Mihail "⁠Dosia⁠" Stolyarov and Abay "⁠HObbit⁠" Khassenov then clutched a 2v3, which helped their team win the following two rounds for a 4-3 lead.

In the eighth round, FaZe failed to plant in due time, which put them at a two-round disadvantage. However, a B execute in the tenth round and a 1v3 by Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač with 3 HP in the following one brought the game back to a tie. Gambit had to eco, but even with weapons their firepower was not enough to hold FaZe back as they found themselves down 6-9 at the end of the half.

As for the second half, it was Gambit's turn to win the pistol round and the subsequent two, levelling the score at 9-9. FaZe then won the first gun round, with karrigan following it up with a successful 1v1 against HObbit after Håvard "⁠rain⁠" Nygaard had picked up a quad kill. 

Danylo "⁠Zeus⁠" Teslenko & co. were losing 9-12, but then three rounds in a row went their way. FaZe were then able to win two more rounds, and despite the CIS-based team's efforts – including a 2v3 by Zeus and HObbit – Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli's squad closed out the match 16-13.

PotM: Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač is our Player of the Match thanks to his 30 kills, 107.9 ADR and 1.53 rating. He also had six opening kills throughout the map and won one of the most important rounds of the match – a 3 HP 1v3 clutch to secure the tie.
