A quickie with threat

Giants managed to grab the first title this year, by winning Inferno Online League season two, last weekend. You however lost two very important games this week, in Extreme Masters and EPS Scandinavia. What would you say the missing link was, in order to win against GamePlay and mTw?

Well we did what we had to against GamePlay, which was winning 1 map. It was all we needed to get our spot to the finals. Just too bad we didn’t manage to win the game, guess it just was their day. I guess they really wanted revenge from our EPS game against them. In the mTw game I think we lost too many 1on1 situations and they played a really well t side.

Last year you managed to win DreamHack Skellefteå against SK Gaming. How do you see the battle against fnatic and SK Gaming, to become the best in Sweden, have you gained or lost on them?

Well I think we have gotten just better and better the last few months. It’s hard to compare with SK and fnatic. I would say they are better at the moment but we are closing in on them.

Tomorrow it’s Intel Friday Night Game in Copenhagen, what are you expecting of your first Intel Friday Night Game?

I think it will be a great experience both for us and ATS. I’m expecting it to be a blast and I hope we will have a great weekend in Copenhagen.

You will be facing XLBet.ATS, currently ranked as the second best in Denmark, top of their Extreme Masters group. What are their strong and weak sides, in your opinion?

I don’t really know since I've neither played them nor watched them play.

Your chances of advancing to the LAN finals are not looking too good. What do you expect of the match tomorrow, who will win?

We will win of course!

Looking at the future, what plans do Giants have?

Well we are going to try to attend any big event that comes up I guess.
