SK 2-1 Cloud9 at cs_summit
SK move on to the upper-bracket final after an exciting match against Cloud9 which they won 2-1 (16-14 Inferno, 9-16 Train, 16-8 Mirage).
Cloud9 started on the Terrorist side of their map pick, Inferno, and managed to get momentum after a few round were traded back and forth early on. As the score was 6-3 in the favor of the North American side, Braxton "swag" Pierce stepped up massively, securing four kills and clutching the round for Cloud9 to set his team for a strong first half.
SK bounced back and tied the match 9-9 after winning the Terrorist pistol and the following two, despite some anti-eco scares. The Brazilian side went on a roll off the back of that, getting to a 14-9 lead before the CT side could reply with a round of their own.
As the match was at a crucial point with the score at 14-13, Cloud9 decided to go for an aggressive mid-push that backfired and got SK on match point. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's team couldn't close it out on the following round, but managed to secure a 16-14 win on Inferno with an A split tactic on a low buy.

On Train, Cloud9's five round streak was stopped by a low-buy B execute from SK with FalleN clutching the 1v2 after plant. Marcelo "coldzera" David's four kills on an A site push were crucial in the Brazilians tieing up the score at 6-6, but the lead was shortly back in the hands of the American team as they finished the half 9-6.
After losing the Terrorist pistol, Cloud9 went for a third-round buy and won it with a fast A push, starting a series of back-and-forth round trades. Jake "Stewie2K" Yip's contributions helped Cloud9 get to match point, and a 2v2 from him and swag sealed the deal on train, making it 16-9 for the North Americans.
The early game on Mirage went the way of SK who managed to clutch out the tight situations from the CT side. After losing a heartbreaking round due to an AWP wallbang on the planter, Cloud9 stepped up the pace and took over the A site with a Tec-9 smoke execute.
Things finally started going the way of Cloud9 towards the end of the half and Stewie2K and Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert clutched a 2v3 to finish the half 6-9. After the switch, the Brazilian side won the crucial reset rounds and ran away with the lead, closing it out the map 16-8 for a 2-1 win in the series.
