OpTic thrash Chiefs

OpTic moved up to the 2-1 pool after crushing Chiefs 16-4 on Train.

Starting as Counter-Terrorists, the home team Chiefs grabbed an early 3-0 lead with a pistol round going their way.

Clinching the first two gunrounds, OpTic replied with four in a row thanks to forcing their opponents on ecoes before the Australian side equalized the score at 4-4 with doubles from Liam "malta" Schembri and Tyler "tucks" Reilly.

OpTic conceded only one gunround throughout the match

OpTic had a firm grasp on the rest of the half, exploiting each bombsite late into the rounds after Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas found entries, switching over at 11-4.

Keith "NAF" Markovic's and Tarik "tarik" Celik's doubles in the second pistol got OpTic within two rounds from the victory, and they took no time to close things out as NAF clutched a 1v3 for 16-4.

There's lots of games where even if it's 16-4 it seemed like some close situations going differently it could've been a different match. This was not one of those games. Not sure what optic's path is to playoffs, would need to upset a good team.

Yea but it seemed too stacked for them to make it out of playoffs

It's unavoidable with an 8-team Swiss group, one of the 1-2's has to play one of the 2-1's

The fact that ViCi were eliminated from the tournament is, in the grand scheme of things, more important to highlight than the fact that it was a one-sided match. Simple as that

Renegades were on good winning streak with Atter + Uber but with Nexa and Nifty they lose to everyone... I say #BringBackAtterandUber!

A 1-2 team will have to play a 2-1 team. It's dumb but ESL wants this
