Singularity to lose CS:GO team

Singularity and their Counter-Strike team have agreed to part ways, the players have announced.

In a joint statement, the players explain that they are "ready for new opportunities" as their contracts with Singularity are about to expire.

The Danish team caused quite a stir in the Counter-Strike community last month as they secured a spot in Copenhagen Games' main tournament via the BYOC qualifier and went on to win the title, beating iGame.com, BIG and dreamchasers in the playoffs.

Singularity's players are looking for a new home

With this announcement, the team, who are currently ranked 19th in the world, also hope to give Singularity some time to decide their future strategy before the two parties officially go their separate ways.

"We have been pleased with our time at Singularity that has supported us in our ventures and provided a good platform to progress from," the players said in a statement.

"[Singularity CEO] Atle Stehouwer has been a great support, but we are ready for new opportunities when our current contract expires.

"We would like to thank Atle and the Singularity organization for the opportunities given and we will, of course, live up to every obligation in the remaining contract period.

"All our energy goes to performing at our very best."

Solid oppertunities and good chance 1-2 of these players become worth something. Hopefully an org like mouz picks them up as an academy team and turn some profit.

wtf is your logic; you beat some t3 tean once or even twice and sudenly you deserve top20 spot xD ? lmao top20 /30/50 ranking would be shifting soooooooo much everyday; one day nip would be top 1 another day top29 one day sk top 1 one day 15 VP one day 45 one day 34 etc

i didn't say that lol, but a team that won a t2/t3 tournament deserves more to be top 20 than godsent/envyus for example

xDDDD so if team plays only t2/t3 tournaments and never plays t1 oposition one day they will become top20 without playing t1 game in thier life; and they will be above some tier1 teams in ranking
