For ages now the great Swedish killing machine fnatic have been questioned what they will do in order to become what they used to be. Now it’s official what changes will be made.

Today the well known Swedish player Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund has been swapped in fnatic for Oskar "ins" Holm. Christoper "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund who under a short period of time has been in teams such as SK, NiP and Giants. This makes the fnatic team for 2009, and the first change in fnatic in two years:

Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund
Harley "dsn" Örwall
Oscar "Archi" Torgersen
Patrick "cArn" Sättermon
Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg

The new fnatic member Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund states:

"I will really miss my friends in Giants and the organization itself, they were really honest with everything to me while I have tryed to be there with them! But Fnatics offer to play with them is something I cannot say no to. I am really happy for this chance and 09 will be Fnatics year."

The fnatic captain, Patrick "cArn" Sättermon states on the changes:

"I´m thrilled and excited about our addition of Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund. Chris has been the most shining rising star in Sweden the last year and it was a natural choice for us. However, it´s painful to announce the departure of Oskar "ins" Holm who has been a loyal friend and teammate the last two years. Oskar will step down from competitive Counter-Strike, but will continue to be a part of the Fnatic organization."

Managing Director fnatic, Sam Mathews states:

"I'm really excited to be announcing the first change to the FNATIC CS team in TWO YEARS with the transfer of Oskar "Ins" Holm to Fnatic Management and the addition of the monster player Christopher "Get_Right" Alesund. Of course this has been a very difficult decision for us as Fnatic is one of the tightest team as friends in the sport, and any change is a huge deal for us. Oskar will be missed as a player, but he will live on in Fnatic.. and we will still see his red hat in a fnatic shirt at some events in the future. I am confident this change will bring us back into contention for the worlds number 1 team, 09 is FNATICS!"

Alberto "yopi" Bricio, manager of Giants commented the replacement situation:

"We are already asking who could fit well as fifth player, nothing is decided yet. There are about 3-4 players we have talked about but as I said nothing is confirmed yet."

According to the Swedish gaming site Rakaka, ins has decided to play online poker professionally. What will happen to Giants is unknown for the time being. According to FYRR73 a replacement is uncertain for the time being (moddiii post taken down after talking to Giants). Tooo bad. Totally ruins Giants which was a clan with potential to become something great. This merely stabbed Giants and didn't bring too much into Fnatic. I doubt he will cope there socially. My guess is that he will be kicked after only a few months... Stay strong Giants!

Sad to see ins step back, even though he will still be a fnatic. GeT_RiGhT in fnatic, hm, I looking forward to see how that turns out, no doubt he's an amazing player, but does he fit with the other members in fnatic? Time will tell. Best of luck to both ins, GeT_RiGhT and fnatic.

Just to make it clear to everyone. GeT_RiGhT will be allowed to play with fnatic in Extreme Masters after the group stage. He will however not be allowed to play with fnatic in ESL Pro Series Scandinavia, not even at the LAN finals.

I don't really like this... ins was in fnatic for years, the chemistry and comunication won't be the same anymore. I'm not expecting anything good from Get_Right... He has won the fame of the "Little Young Kid" who everyone wants in because he's young... They should get fisker, since he played in the Inferno Online League(the lastest one) with Xeqtr, quick, and some other old school players. I believe he can come back anytime

Actually they're not "ready" since all of the players have retired or are "stuck" in a contract with a team. SK with walle are doing great, also Blank with face and snajdan, why would they leave that?

Come on guys. Everything changes in counter strike nowadays. GeT_RiGhT is a PERFECTLY talented player he just need to be sure that the teammates likes him. Fnatic will now be one of 2009s best clans ever! Congratz GTR and hope you f0rest Archi cArn dsn will give the top teams a hard year! You can do it. Yeah, but he has shown that he is an experienced player recently. And the Swedish player-market isn't that great so GTR might've been the best choice. Just hope he does great in the team and bring fnatic up to the top of the top again.
