fnx: "I decided to step down"

Lincoln "fnx" Lau has revealed that it was his wish to step down from Immortals' starting lineup.

The 27-year-old has relinquished his position on the Brazilian team just three months after signing for Immortals, who have confirmed via Facebook that "internal issues" had taken their toll on the squad's performances.

fnx sheds light on his situation

The North American organisation hinted that moving Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau to the bench was a team decision, but the former SK Gaming member has now painted a different picture, claiming that the decision was his choice.

"After Immortals' announcement, I would like to say that it was my decision to drop to the bench," he wrote on Twitter.

"My reasons will remain secret, out of respect for Immortals. I do not have a destination set, and I will wait for the offers to come to choose the best option for me.

"I will keep giving updates and I hope you will continue to support me. I would like to thank Immortals for their support during these months. They have never done me wrong."

Immortals' squad has been depleted to just four members, with team coach Rafael "⁠zakk⁠" Fernandes set to continue to fill in for them until a permanent solution is found.

Thats a false information, he was not practicing enough, wich was true, people checked his hours per week. From SK, he was indeed kicked. Seconnd, he decided to step down from IMT because he played with them before and he knows they will never become a tier 1 or top team. And Cogu offered him an offer or propose something that we are yet to see. You don't follow him as close as i do, don't share false information. If you want to share false information, don't complain about the other brazilians spamming SK TOP1 or shit like that when they win a tournament. its the same.

Cogu? Lol IMT is his best shot to have a good team after SK. He could have a decent lineup with cogu and kNg, both are looking good and improving, but it would take years for them to reach the top. That's if they would be able to. And they'd still need 2 decent players. There's no way he will find a better lineup than IMT. They were doing fine, a top 8 team. I don't think the problem with IMT is what you said.

For those who don't know whats going (Hard to know, since they post most of the things in portuguese) Steelega shared a month ago Fnx is quite stressed when players don't play well or aren't doing well, when he got kicked from SK he was very hungry and i think he got disappointed with the time, since they didnt win anything and lost a final to Gambit. And, cogu wich he is friends with, was at the event on DH, a leaked information showed that Cogu made him an offer/proposition to make a team from scratch. Everything is leading to him accepting it. Most likely lineup so far is: Fnx Cogu Pava Nak Bld Stay tuned for the news, i hope he doesnt end his career yet.
