Immortals target horvy

Immortals have expressed an interest in k1ck member João "horvy" Matheus Rodaczynski Horvath, HLTV.org can confirm.

According to sources with knowledge of the case, João "⁠horvy⁠" Horvath is on the verge of agreeing terms with Immortals and has even played practice matches with the team from Portugal, where he has been living for several months now.

Before being able to formally unveil their new player, Immortals will first need to come to an agreement with k1ck, whom horvy joined at the start of the year after playing for Brazilian teams such as CNB, INTZ and T Show.

horvy is on Immortals' radar

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the best young talents hailing from Brazil. Earlier in this month, he helped k1ck to finish second at the 4Gamers CS:GO Masters, where they were defeated by Space Soldiers 0-2 in the final.

Immortals are on the lookout for a new fifth player after Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau was moved to the bench, with the 27-year-old claiming that it was his decision to step down from the active lineup.

They really didn't play together, but still, he has really good aim, there's some other clips of him(many in clutch situations). He's just 18 yo, he's a promise, but so was Shz,and he never fully developed, we will have to wait and see.

I agree with you that it's delusional. However, given the country's situation in CS:GO, it's fairly understandable that so many fans from here think like that. Brazil's Counter-Strike scene is very isolated from the rest of the world and not long ago we only had one team competing internationally, and still as of yet, SK is the only one that has even qualified for a Major. Because of that fans get very patriotic and every team that goes to USA or EU is seen like an ambassador representing the nation. Combine that with the fact that so many of these fans are very young (after all, CS is just a videogame) and therefore very naive and it's expectable that rising talents like Horvy are over hyped. I can't really know how it feels to play CS in Europe, to play and interact with people from many other countries since the beginning. If a EU country doesn't have any big teams, good players can still join international rosters pretty easily (like ropz). But it really seems to me that this kind of international environment softens a sort of patriotic urge some people have. I mean, even if I'm right, the whole picture of reasons why this happens is much larger than just what I said and it covers many other things about Brazilians' behavior on the Internet (hence the "hue hue culture")

still, people cant be happy about this lol, is a HUUUUUUUUUUGE downgrade, HUGE!! thats my point =( because at this point theres no one with the "fucked up" aspect on imm anymore, felps played in a interesting way as star player, fnx is the most experienced player from br playing on high level... if you take fnx or felps out, to pick a new upcoming talent... imm will get worse stars: hen1 inconsistent boltz: never will get better, play too safe, baiter, bad comms, and dont have the drive to be a super start on tier1 lvl everything imm got to this day, felps and fnx had huge impact. they will be good with time, but forget upseting top3~ teams for a good time xd

He played well at lans, he actually is pretty good at lans, he just needs a chance in a tier 1 team, we used to say that all the time about coldzera aswell, there are other talents that might do very well against tier 1 competition in Brazil; dzt, chelo and pava (the last was in one of the first formations of mibr and he is playing very well lately once again)

But really he's some young kid from Brazil that could be a rising star, problem I see here is the best players he's played so far are like premier level Brazilian teams, not even kidding and now he will join IMT this is going to be a huge step up for him so I don't know if he's even good enough nothing points to it atm but some people say he has decent aim which to me means nothing tons of ppl have good aim in this game and are not good enough to play at the pro level. Still best of luck to them anyway, rather they went with kNg he's a much better player but I think he's still under contract with some other team even though he's inactive.
