Immortals join DH Summer list

DreamHack has announced that Immortals are the fifth team confirmed for the upcoming Summer tournament.

Immortals join fellow Brazilian team SK Gaming and European trio Gambit, fnatic and mousesports, who were all previously invited to the competition.

The invitation adds to an already packed schedule for Immortals, who are also due to take part in the ESL Pro League Season 5 finals, from May 31 to June 4, and in the Americas Minor, from June 8-11.

Immortals secure DH Summer invite

The Brazilian team, who finished runners-up to Gambit at DreamHack Open Austin, are currently on the lookout for a new fifth member after Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau was moved to a backup position.

DreamHack Open Summer will take place from June 17-19 at the Elmia Exhibition and Convention Centre, in Jönköping, with $100,000 up for grabs.

+1 Immortals had evolved a lot since fnx arrival. Now with him gone I don't know if they'll be able to maintain it. Now they will be a lot more dependent on Hen1 and if he's in a good day or not. But I hope they continue this good run! #IMTWIN

SK gets invited to all the somewhat big LAN tournaments that happen. Even tournaments with <50k in prizepool. But it's up to the organization and the team to choose what tournaments they'll attend. It's not like they are accepting every invite. Fallen explained this once in a stream.
