valde set to leave Heroic
Heroic have announced that Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså will be allowed to continue his career on a different team.
The announcement comes just days after Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså was moved to the bench by team coach Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen, with Casper "cadiaN" Møller stepping in for the ESL One Cologne qualifier.
That decision came as a surprise to many as valde had been part of the team for almost a year and is widely regarded as one of the most promising Danish players.

In a statement, Heroic have revealed that the benching valde "came as a consequence" of the player being "uncertain about his future on the team", and the 21-year-old has publicly taken his fair share of the blame for the problems.
"I could definitely have handled the situation and the timing differently, but in the end I think the best solution for all is that I move on," valde said.
"I have always appreciated the Heroic guys and the cooperation with RFRSH, who is indeed bringing a new and professional attitude to the game, but even though we are five very strong players, we did not function optimally as a team.
"I take my part of the responsibility, and it was a frustration to all that we didn’t function optimally. Now I look forward to finding a new team and I appreciate that RFRSH will help out in this situation."
RFRSH Entertainment CEO Nikolaj Nyholm added that the company is now working with valde to find him a new home and noted that the search for a new fifth player is already underway.
"I fully support Henrik’s decision, which means valde will not play for Heroic anymore and we are looking for a permanent replacement," Mr. Nyholm said.
"He is an extremely skilled player, and I would have loved to continue working with him, and help to develop him as a player.
"In general we would never let a player, still under contract go, but, for several reasons, I believe this is the right decision for all. We will do all we can and work with him to find a new team."
Heroic, who have qualified for ESL One Cologne after beating dignitas in the semi-finals of the closed qualifier, currently have the following quartet:
Andreas "MODDII" Fridh
Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Jakob "JUGi" Hansen
Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen
Won't be playing with @heroicgg anymore. I started out with the Team X/Heroic project last summer as a total unknown and now i'm here 😊
