Maikelele to step in for Red Reserve

Former Ninjas in Pyjamas and FaZe member Mikail "Maikelele" Bill will play for Red Reserve as a stand-in at the GeForce Cup, HLTV.org has learned.

Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill will continue to fill in for Aron "⁠xajdish⁠" Fredriksson after playing for the Swedish team earlier in the week in the closed qualifier for the Farmskins Championship.

The 26-year-old is currently a free agent after being removed from dignitas' lineup together with Faruk "⁠pita⁠" Pita less than two months after the creation of the team.

Maikelele will step in for the former passions team

Since then, he has played for mix teams ESG and GreyFace in the qualifiers for the European Minor and for DreamHack Summer alongside players like Jacob "⁠pyth⁠" Mourujärvi and Alexander "⁠SKYTTEN⁠" Carlsson.

The GeForce Cup will take place this weekend at the Centennial Hall, in Wroclaw, Poland. Eight European teams will take part in this $30,000 tournament, with Red Reserve set to face fnatic Academy in the first round of the single-elimination bracket.

Red Reserve will attend the Polish event with:

He didn't destroy any team, wth are you even talking about? He was simply always playing in subpar lineups, his best lineup was NiP but they kicked him despite doing fairly well (like a 2nd place in a major, 1 lan win and another second place out of 4 lans attended)

He wasn't considered a stand in but a potential 5th on NiP as he was on trial. He then signed with NiP in december, so not a stand in at all.
