AnJ on his way out of Singularity

It has been made public that Allan "AnJ" Jensen, a Danish rising star, has been benched in Singularity and is looking for other options. Trying out for his spot on the team will be Ismail "refrezh" Ali.

The first information regarding Allan "⁠AnJ⁠" Jensen's situation came yesterday when his teammate Peter "⁠Inzta⁠" Kragelund tweeted that they will be using Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali as a stand-in in the Farmskins Championship.

The situation was further explained today, with both Singularity and AnJ giving statements on the matter to dust2.dk.

Atle, the owner of Singularity, revealed that AnJ has been benched and that the 22-year-old will not be playing for the team at DreamHack Summer, with refrezh coming in to fill the gap.

AnJ cited the need to play with more experienced players and at bigger tournaments as a reason for his imminent departure from Singularity:

"However, I have come to a point where I need to play with and learn from more experienced players, from the bigger tournaments, to continue to develop myself as a player and to have my shortcomings highlighted, so I can develop my game compared to what it takes to play at the highest level, and to continue working to achieve my dream of being among the best and even play in the big tournaments."

"It is still not clear to me what the future holds, but I know it is bright and I am more motivated than ever to continue to grow."

"I have also been allowed by Singularity to try out for other teams in the period I am on the bench as long as both parties maintain a good dialogue and can reach a transfer agreement."

Singularity currently have four players and refrezh who is on a month-long trial period:

north wont take him nor astralis, any other danish team would be downgrade so id say heroic hence why valde got benched

Yes. If he was going to join Tricked, he would probadly replace either Friis or acillion, because noone would replace GODHunden.

Meh, overrated player. From a viewers perspective, he is perfectly set up, has all the good spots etc. (= good stats) He will struggle on Heroic for sure, where he will not be setup to be the star.
