Assembly to host Nordic C'ship final
DreamHack has announced that the Summer Nordic Championship season will culminate with the final at Assembly.
Over the next month, national qualifiers will be held in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway to determine the teams who will represent their respective countries in the online portion of the Nordic Championship, which launched last year with the final at Dreamhack Winter.
The top two teams from each country will then face off in an online league, with selected matches being broadcast in English from the Monster Energy DreamHack studios, located in Stockholm, Sweden.

After the end of the online stage, the top two teams will then go head-to-head on August 5 at Assembly Summer, in Helsinki, for the lion's share of the Nordic Championship's 200,000 SEK ($23,000) prize pool.
The Winter season will run from October-November and culminate with the final at DreamHack Winter, in Jönköping, Sweden, with DreamHack Esports Director Michael van Driel stating that there is a plan in place to take the Nordic Championship to Norway and Denmark in 2018.
"This is the inclusive initiative where we want to unify the efforts across all Nordic countries and create a healthy eco-system for esports where our goal is to find the next SortOf [a StarCraft II player] or allu and elevate them to the global level," he added.
Epsilon are the current Nordic champion after beating ENCE 2-0 in the grand final of the 2016 event, taking home over $6,000.
