ROG MASTERS with $250,000 prize pool

ASUS sub-brand ROG has announced that it will host a cross-continent tournament series with $250,000 up for grabs in CS:GO.

Running from June to November, the ROG Masters will encompass over 30 countries worldwide and have four different stages, in order to cater to both professional and up-and-coming teams.

There will be three major regions: APAC (Asia-Pacific), EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and the Americas, each one featuring open qualifiers, regional qualifiers and regional finals. China will have its own qualifying circuit, featuring an open stage and national finals.

ROG will host its biggest CS:GO tournament ever, with $250,000 on offer

Teams from countries without national qualifiers will still have the chance to compete by taking part in the regional open qualifiers.

In the end, the top six teams (two from APAC, two from EMEA, one from the Americas and one from China) will fight for the title of ROG MASTERS champions at the grand finals, with the dates and location of the event due to be revealed soon.

Below you can find the details about the qualifying process for the ROG Masters event:

Why so? Asus are very closely affiliated to the CS scene in Finland. I wouldn't fade out the possibility of a related LAN event in either of the Assembly festivals. ^^

Never, it lacks a qualifier in Brazil, which has much more scene than Peru, Colombia, Chile, so much that we dominate the North American scene

exactly, the only reason i would guess is they want to develop some smaller scenes.

pretty sure like the 3rd best mongolian team could beat any south asian shitter team, no idea why events even bother with that entire region anymore, its a lost cause.
