SK & fnatic go 2-0 in Dallas

The Brazilian derby began with Immortals taking the pistol round with a fast B execute, with Vito "⁠kNgV-⁠" Giuseppe getting three kills to his name. SK then hit back on a force buy, but Immortals once again targetted the B site and wreaked havoc in their opponents' defence.

Immortals' great run on the Terrorist side continued as they got out to a 4-1 lead before SK finally put their foot down to hold back their countrymen. SK's double AWP setup proved very effective as they won nine rounds in a row before Immortals got their fifth with a last-gasp effort.

SK are now 2-0 in Dallas

Now playing on the Terrorist side, SK simply ran riot, winning six rounds in a row as Immortals had no response to the pace set by Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo's men.

Meanwhile, fnatic took on EnVyUs looking for their second victory in the tournament after defeating Immortals in the previous round, and they put in a great performance on the Terrorist side, limiting the Frenchmen to just three rounds.

With a trio of kills from Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman, fnatic picked up the pistol round as CT in convincing fashion, and they followed it up with another round to make it 14-3. It looked like the Swedes had the game under control, but EnVyUs refused to throw in the towel and won a force-buy round.

That was the start of a great run from EnVyUs, who won six rounds in a row to reduce the deficit to 9-14. But fnatic would not let a comeback happen and hit match point before Freddy "⁠KRIMZ⁠" Johansson sealed the deal with a stunning ace.
