Secret lose team

Team Secret have announced that they have parted ways with their female CS:GO squad.

In a statement to HLTV.org, team member Zainab "zAAz" Turkie explained that the squad and the organisation parted ways on good terms and added that their new home will be announced soon.

zAAz & co leave Team Secret

Previously known as WRTP, the female team joined Secret's ranks in March of last year. While playing under the organisation, which is famed for its Dota 2 roster, the team won back-to-back Copenhagen Games titles, one ESWC crown and one Intel Challenge Katowice trophy.

"We had an amazing time with Secret and we thank them for their time and wish them good luck in the future," zAAz told HLTV.org.

"But this is of course not the end for us. We will be announcing our new home as soon as possible."

Team Secret had the following roster:

Russia Ksenia "vilga" Kluenkova
Sweden Julia "juliano" Kiran
Sweden Zainab "zAAz" Turkie
Denmark Michaela "mimi" Lintrup
Russia Anna "Ant1ka" Ananikova

Tournament organizers don't seem to care much about female CS. If there's no investment into the scene then it won't succeed.

What the fuck? When their top teams fail at OPEN QUALIFIERS why the fuck would you want to invest in their scene?

But they need to prove that they are worth investing into first. Take Brazil cs for example they were nothing until keyd proved themselves and showed there is real talent in Brazil.

It's two different scenes and games. 5 years of CSGO and 2 out of em they were irrelevant.

Cuz they were still playing 1.6, u know, it's a different part of world, when they realized that there is something like CSGO it was already as You said 2 years of pro scene doing good

It's like playing another sport and then claim you were relevant in another sports scene because you later moved.

I wouldn't call an investment into this particular female team a bad one. It is very likely that they will win most female events that they will participate in. Even if there isn't really any interesting money in the female events, orgs can still present them as the worlds best female team and earn money through sponsors and adverts.

Their best team would be tier 4(at best) on the male scene, this was proven numerous times, no one will invest too much on this scene, and for a good reason. You don't want to invest more than what you will gain in return, obviously. People just don't care about female CS. If they want to be relevant, they have to play against men as well.

I don't think they were kicked. Probably got a bigger offer from a big cuck org to use them as show pieces to use to further their political agenda. My bet is that its some big media company.

They just left together with Kemal who got kicked out from Secret. The gaming house it's his and it's in Turkey, hence the reason why they're in Turkey. He's their manager and finding them new org, which he already found.
