Europe Minor - PGL Major Krakow 2017BIG through to Minor playoffs over Ballistix
BIG have advanced to the playoffs at the Europe Minor after beating Ballistix 16-14 on Cobblestone.
Group A winners' match in Bucharest, Romania featured Ballistix who upset Envy, and BIG who beat Kinguin in their respective opening matches. The best-of-one game was played on Cobblestone with BIG starting on the T-side.
BIG took control of the A- site in the pistol round and won the round with Fatih "gob b" Dayik's 1vs1 clutch against "" . Following two anti-eco wins, BIG had tried a fake but lost the round (3-1). Ballistix won six rounds in a row before Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz got a triple kill and won the round as his team trailed 4-6.
Ballistix dealt a heavy blow to BIG in the following round and extended their lead to 7-4. Having broken BIG's economy, Ballistix went on to win the first half 11-4.
The second half pistol round started with tabseN's double kill which brought the round to BIG. The German team won the first three rounds just as they did in the first half and also secured first weapon round with ease (11-8). BIG tied the game at 11-11 as the Swedes struggled to get kills on the T-side.
Ballistix finally secured two rounds to lead 13-12 but BIG finished the comeback and won the match 16-14. With this result, they have advanced to the playoffs at the Europe Minor.
